3. Translate the following into Hindi.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was a great patriot and lover of peace. he is known as ‘the father of the nation’. we made our country free from British rule.

 he was born on 2nd October 1869 at Porbandar in Gujarat. his father Karamchand Gandhi was the Deewan of Rajkot. his mother was a noble and pious lady.

 at the age of 7, he was sent to school. Gandhiji was an ordinary student. after passing High School he went to England for higher studies. from there he returned to India as a barrister and started practice at the Bombay High Court.
